Connect a domain
Domain is a unique name for your site, which should be easy to remember and reflect the topic of the site or company name. It will be much easier for the site visitor to remember a short and logical domain name.
Enable an SSL certificate
If your website doesn’t have an SSL certificate, it will display a ‘Not Secure’ tag in the URL bar on Google. When visiting such a site, the user will see this warning.
Set up a domain-based email address
Domain email is an email connected to the site domain, which increases site credibility. For example, admin@site.com or info@site.com.
Add a phone number to your site
Displaying a phone number on the site is a great way to communicate with visitors and increase their loyalty. Add the phone to the most visible places of your site, for example, to the header and the footer. Make it clickable so that when a visitor clicks on the number, they can make a call. Such an option is necessary for users who visit the site from their phones. They can also make a call from their computer if it has a special program.
Add a callback button
This is an effective and in-demand feature for the site that allows the user to order a callback to the contact method of their choice. This tool increases conversion rates and engages new customers.
Add the address and map
The company address and the map will help visitors find your office, store, or restaurant. This information also allows your site to rank high in search engines.
Add an email and a contact form
Serve as an additional means of communication. The more contact information you leave, the more likely it is to be used by visitors. Place your email in the site header and footer. Add a feedback form to the first block of the site or to subsequent blocks depending on the layout.
Check the feedback forms (send a test email)
When creating a form, add as few required fields as possible; the fewer the fields, the higher the conversion rate. Required fields in the forms should be marked with an asterisk and explanatory captions accordingly. Once the form has been submitted successfully, make sure that users see a successful submission message. Also check the message that came to your email: whether the email address is correct, whether you received all the necessary data, and so on.
Add links to social networks
Help you connect with your users via social networks, involve them in your company life, keep them up to date on your news. The links also allow you to move the discussion to DM.
Add links to such messengers as Telegram, WhatsApp, and Viber
Install icons on your site with links to popular messengers like WhatsApp, Viber, or Telegram. This will allow your users to go from the site to the chat with the manager after clicking the icon.
Add a chat room to your site
An online chat is a popular tool for communicating with customers on the website, in social networks, and messengers. Live communication with a website visitor will help them to make a choice, and you to increase the sales of goods or services. The most popular online chat service is zendesk.com. Sign up and install a chat on your site.
Check your site menu (access to sections)
Make sure all links added to your site and navigation work properly. If the page link was changed, be sure to update the links in the menu.
Check the adaptability of your website on a mobile device
If your site is not adapted for mobile devices, you're going to lose half of your potential users. Plus, mobile version of a site is one of the factors that affect the site ranking in search.
Integrate your website with a simple CRM
Manage clients and deals in a single database, all you need to do is connect a CRM system. For example, BoardCRM.
Set up a Favicon
A favicon is a small icon that is associated with the selected site. It's located in the browser tab next to the site name. The favicon should reflect the site theme and purpose, be memorable, and unique.
